Haywyre consists of Martin Vogt, who has been studying piano since the age of six. His interest in the production of hip-hop, dubstep and electronica began growing when he lived in Austria. Shortly after moving back to the United States, in 2008, Haywyre was created. Since then he has released five albums, soon to be six with a new “Pay What You Want” release that will be available June 25th 2012 on Beatport, Bandcamp, iTunes, etc. He gathers inspiration from artists such as Noisia, Break, STS9, Pretty Lights, Flying Lotus, Trentemoller, Patrick O’Hearn, Kraak & Smaak, Phillip Glass and Abdullah Ibrahim. His music production is made possible with FL Studio, Ableton Live, an AKAI MPK 88 midi keyboard, and an Edirol UA-101 Audio Interface. His artwork and design has been made possible by Christopher Neil, Soroush Barazesh, KeepWalking (Facundo DW) and Steeve Teeple.
